LIDAR SURVEYS FOR COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a remote sensing method that uses light in the form of a pulsed laser to measure ranges (variable distances) to objects. These light pulses - combined with other data recorded by the airborne system - generate precise, three-dimensional information.

AIRBORNE LIDAR SURVEYS

Airborne Lidar surveys involve the use of a Lidar sensor to rapidly scan the environment using Laser and GPS technology. The RIEGl MiniVux-1 UAV is an extremely lightweight airborne laser scanner, designed specifically for integration with drones for high accuracy data acquisition.

Results using drones can be faster and more cost-effective than  manned airborne Lidar surveys

TERRESTIAL LIDAR & LASER SCANNING

Terrestrial Lidar (3D Laser Scanning) technologies provide 3D survey data that is accurate, dense and more economically produced than data from surveys using traditional techniques. 

Commercially, laser scanning has been found to be very effective in the documentation of structures such as oil and chemical refineries, highways, bridges, and other complex structures, producing accurate "as-built" measured drawings in very little time and with very little expense compared to traditional methods.
